Membership in the Sacramento Valley Soaring Society is open to the general public. Dues are $45 per year for individual membership and $60 per year for a family membership. Annual dues are only $6 per year for anyone 18 years and under. Membership runs from January 1st through December 31st. There is a $5 initiation fee for new members and a $5 late fee for renewing memberships received after March 1st. Dues are prorated after April 30th at $5 per month for each month remaining in the year. SVSS is an AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) charted club. AMA membership is required to use the club's equipment or fly in a club event. An Associate Membership (non-flying) does not require AMA membership. Follow this link to the AMA website for membership information. Please send a copy of your AMA membership card with your application or indicate that your AMA membership is pending. The entry fee for the monthly club contest is $8. A season pass is available for $64.
